Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an Optometrist for a community focused outpatient setting. This role offers the opportunity to provide high quality eye care while working within an integrated care model serving Northern Maine communities.
Position OverviewThe Optometrist provides comprehensive eye care services including routine exams, diagnosis, and treatment of ocular conditions. This role collaborates closely with primary care providers and participates as a key member of the integrated care team.
Schedule- 4 day work week
- Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
- Outpatient setting
- No hospital call

Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive optometry services
- Diagnose and treat eye conditions and diseases
- Perform routine and preventative eye exams
- Collaborate with primary care and specialty providers
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Educate patients on eye health and preventative care

RequirementsGraduate of an approved school of optometry
Active State of Maine Optometrist license
Current CPR certification
Experience in rural or community oriented care preferred
