- Meet with clients and caregivers in the home, community, and school settings.
- Develop individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor goals through data collection and analysis.
- Supervise Behavioral Health Technicians and the implementation of the ITP.
- Collaborate with team members regularly.
The BC-ABA must meet 1 of the following:
- A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 12 credits in ABA.
- A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a professional with a certification as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA-approved by the Department or provided by a continuing education provider approved by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board.
The position requires three clearances (Pennsylvania Child Line Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, and FBI Fingerprint Check). Mandated Reporting training, copy of valid professional license and a sealed college transcript are also required. If applicants don't already have these clearances, the agency can provide instructions on how to apply for them. Applicants must have reliable transportation.
