Speech Language Pathologist ME

About the Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district near Norway, Maine. This full-time, school-based position focuses on providing speech and language services to Pre‑K students, helping young learners build the communication skills needed for academic and social success.

• Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for preschool-aged students.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals.
• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support student progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and therapy records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Maine SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
• Maine Department of Education certification (or ability to obtain).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP).
• Experience working with preschool or early childhood populations is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
