Position Summary

School-based BHPs provide individualized support to children and adolescents in public schools, aiming to achieve their learning and development objectives. They assess each student's unique needs, focusing on behaviors, social skills, personal routines, and self-care.

By employing evidence-based practices and interventions, BHPs create a therapeutic and enriching learning environment that enables students to grow and thrive independently!

Opportunity Details

  • 12 hours per week
  • Monday
    - Thursday 7:30 am - 10:30 am
  • $20.00 - $22.00/hour (commensurate with experience)
  • Current opportunity available in Richmond School Department

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Experience working with children (paid or volunteered) preferred.
  • BHP certification preferred, but Woodfords will train! (Training will be provided upon hire)
  • Valid driver's license with current auto insurance and use of a reliable vehicle
