Position: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in East Waterboro, ME
Location: Waterboro

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Knowledge of developmental milestones and articulation/phonological processes in young children
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and other school staff
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Passion for fostering student progress in diverse learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech/language interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Support PreK and elementary students in achieving their IEP goals and communication milestones
  • Assist with assessment data collection and implementation of treatment plans
  • Adapt activities and materials to accommodate diverse learner needs
  • Communicate progress and strategies with educators and parents as directed
  • Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with school and legal requirements
