Position: Full-time Patient Access Representative
Location: Cumberland Center

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient services and administrative support, with expertise in managing patient intake processes and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a crucial role in facilitating patient access to care while delivering exceptional service and support.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week and will include mainly day shifts, with the possibility of PMs until 7pm. This will also include a weekend and holiday rotation.

Duties
  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing assistance with the check-in process to ensure a positive experience.
  • Verify patient information and insurance details, ensuring accuracy for billing and medical records.
  • Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to manage patient data efficiently.
  • Schedule appointments effectively while managing multiple phone lines and maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
Requirements
  • Experience in a medical office or healthcare environment, preferably in a front desk or administrative role a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and typing abilities; familiarity with multi-line phone systems is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
