Job Overview

We are looking for calm, resourceful, and energetic individuals who are highly motivated, hardworking, and keen to support people with learning, physical and complex needs disabilities in a proactive and holistic manner. You will have well‑honed skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for all our service users. You will support people to maintain a healthy state of wellbeing—mentally, physically and emotionally—and, together with the person’s support network, empower them to be happy, healthy, and successful in achieving their life goals.

The support we offer is tailored to each client’s needs and encourages independence and community engagement. You must be willing to embrace all aspects of the role, including providing personal care and domestic support, and assisting individuals to access work, education and social opportunities.

• Minimum 12 months previous care experience.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, compassionate approach.
• Calm, resourceful, energetic and highly motivated.
• Ability to work flexibly on a roster basis, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to provide personal care, domestic support, and assist with work, education and social opportunities.

As a Creative Support Bank Staff member you will have access to our free app which allows you to pick up shifts anywhere in the country, provides information on the service and shifts as well as directions. You will be paid on a weekly basis. The role is based at our registered care service in Witham, Essex, where we support six individuals.
