• Assist physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organization tasks.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient charts.
• Provide patients with information to fully utilize clinic services.
• Convey a positive image of the organization.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience (effective April 2014).
• Graduate from an accredited medical assistance school.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain it.
• Minimum one year work experience in a public contact job.
• Work experience in health care preferred.

Rumford Hospital offers competitive compensation. Estimated range: $22.00 to $26.84 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on skill set, experience, education, credentials and licensure.
