Role Overview: A Radiology Technologist II performs diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures, following department protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Operate imaging equipment and transmit images to PACS
- Ensure patient care and serve as the primary contact for patients
- Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Control activities
- Assist with maintaining supplies, equipment, and inventory
- Support department scheduling and promote teamwork and customer service
- Oversee radiology operations or staff in the absence of management
- State licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required
- National certifications in two modalities
- Current BLS certification
- Familiarity with State and Federal regulations
- At least one year of acute clinical radiography experience
- Graduate of an ARRT-accredited program
- Proficient computer skills
