Pen Bay Hospital offers care in more than 30 specialty areasand is a designated stroke center, providing stroke patients with the best possible opportunity for recovery
The Inpatient/Skilled Rehab department at this location is a cohesive and innovative team that cares for a wide range of patients.
Newlygraduating Physical Therapists are welcome!
Ideal clinical experience for a new graduate wouldbe inpatient and / or skilled rehab
Full Time(32hrs)
- Schedule:
(4) 8 hour days – Sun, Mon, Tues& Fri - Orrotating Sundays with anadditionalday during the week
The Physical Therapist role performs physical therapy evaluations, develops plans, and carries out treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part; helps patients reach their maximum performance in accordance with the Plan of Care prescribed by the provider. Provides all aspects of care based on standardsestablishedby the American Physical Therapy Association.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)Education:
Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapist program required.
License/
Certifications:
Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as a Physical Therapistrequiredor in compliance with the state practice act. Current BLS certification requiredor mustobtainwithin
30 daysof start date. Positions in Home Care will require current valid Driver's License withvehicleavailable for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
Experience:
One year of experience working in a hospital, long-term care, home, school system, or outpatient Physical Therapy department preferred.

The pay range for this position is $40.06to $54.20 per hour.
Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).In addition to base pay, Maine Health offerscomprehensivebenefits, recognition programs, career growth opportunities, and,where applicable,shift differentials or other incentives.
