Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program
• Current ORT certification
• Current experience in an operating room setting
• BCLS certification
• Ability to communicate effectively with department personnel, hospital personnel, medical staff, and sales and repair representatives

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safe and sterile setup of all surgical instrumentation during scheduled and emergency surgical cases.
• Gather all necessary instrumentation and supplies as noted on surgeons' pick sheets.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Capable of managing pressure assignments and clerical duties relative to the department.
• Adhere to all safety and procedural guidelines to ensure a sterile surgical environment.
