- Proven competency to evaluate and treat patients
- Basic outpatient occupational therapy skills: ultrasound, e-stim, exercise bike and treadmill training, strength training equipment usage, and training
Description:
Immediate start needed. The facility provides outpatient therapy services. Patient types include outpatient orthopedic cases, with potential exposure to outpatient neuro cases such as strokes and traumatic brain injury. Common conditions treated include shoulder injuries/surgeries, pain, deconditioning, hand surgeries, elbow injuries, tendonitis, and wrist fractures. Support from the department is available via phone. Scheduling of patients is managed by a scheduler.
Three physical therapists and three occupational therapists are on staff. A certified occupational therapy assistant is also part of the team. The technology used includes an electronic medical record system. Dress code is business casual; closed-toed shoes are required. Jeans are only permitted on Fridays. Professional scrubs without graphics, logos, or designs are expected.
