Summary :
The mammographer performs screening and diagnostic mammography and bone density/ Dexa examinations, meeting all requirements of ARRT, ACR, FDA/MQSA.
Responsibilities :
Perform screening and diagnostic mammogram procedures
Review mammogram reports for the need of follow up imaging and coordinate imaging with patient and/or ordering office
Review daily schedules and charges for accuracy
Perform and document QC at required intervals to ensure equipment is functioning properly and meet MQSA/FDA and ACR requirements
Track and maintain appropriate data for MQSA/FDA and ACR inspections
Other Information :
- Licensed as Radiologic Technologist Required.
