Project Duration : 13 weeks
Pay range : $63-$66/hr, based on experience W2 with limited benefits
Shift : M-Th - 10 hours days; 9:30am to 8:00pm

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / CT Technologist to join a busy diagnostic imaging team on a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both general radiography and CT imaging and committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative imaging environment while supporting a variety of diagnostic imaging needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT examinations according to established protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the examination process.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with department standards.
• Review images for quality and completeness before submitting for interpretation.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and examination records.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide compassionate and professional patient care throughout the imaging process.
• Participate in department call rotation as required.

Requirements:

• Current Radiologic Technologist certification/registration.
• CT experience and/or CT certification preferred.
• Active Maine state licensure is required.
• Previous experience working in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety, imaging protocols, and patient care practices.
