  • Performs diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures following department protocols
  • Acts as the primary contact for patients to ensure quality service and care
  • Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities
  • Oversees radiology operations and staff in the absence of leadership
  • Maintains supplies, equipment, and inventory within the department
  • Assists with scheduling and promotes teamwork and excellent customer service
  • Processes and transmits images to PACS

Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State
  • National certifications in two modalities (effective July 1, 2017)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Knowledge of State and Federal regulations
  • At least one year of acute clinical radiography experience
  • Graduate of an ARRT-accredited program
  • Proficient in computer skills
