Role Overview: Responsible for ensuring appropriate reimbursement for patient care services by participating in the Patient Assessment Process, including MDS completion and Care Area Assessments (CAAs).
Key Responsibilities- Assist in developing individualized patient care plans based on regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the interdisciplinary Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, ensuring accurate completion, encoding, and transmission of MDS data.
- Identify changes in patient condition, coordinate assessments, and support ongoing staff training in Activities of Daily Living.
- Attend educational programs to stay current with RAI and Prospective Payment System regulations.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing.
- Experience in healthcare settings such as hospitals or long-term care facilities.
- Proven experience with MDS and Care Plan completion.
- Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices, laws, and regulations governing long-term care.
Key Attributes: Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
