Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.

~ Per Diem / Day Shifts / As Needed Position ~

An exciting opportunity for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with interest, training and/or experience integrating behavioral health services medical settings. This is a per diem position supporting our Lincoln Hospital’s Palliative Care practice. The work is enhanced by being part of a medical team with solid experience in integrated work, in addition to collaborative work with psychiatrists and other integrated clinicians.

Individual supervision, group supervision, psychiatry consultation, and trainings are added benefits of this position.

Summary:

The Social Worker LCSW role works closely with primary care providers and other care team members to integrate behavioral health into the overall care strategy. This role involves direct patient therapy, crisis intervention and coordination of community services/resources.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education:

    Master's Degree in Social Work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work education required.
  • License/

    Certifications:

    Current State of Maine Social Work license required.
  • Experience:

    Experience providing therapeutic services to patients with chronic medical issues required.
