Kennebec Assisted Livingand Respite Facility, a division of Brown House Properties, isan established and reputable provider in the community of Assisted Living Facilities. They are seeking a Dietary Supervisor, to be based in their Farmingdale, Maine facility.
Job Summary:The Dietary Supervisor is responsible for creating high-quality meals and dining experiences for residents by supervising and supporting dietary staff, coordinating daily food service operations, andparticipatingin meal preparation and service. This position ensures compliance with applicable regulations, food safety standards, and established policies, procedures, and best practices.

- $22 - $26 per hour commensurate with experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous Dietary Coordinator or Supervisor experience in a skilled nursing, intermediate care, memorycareor long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare dietary regulations.
- Ability to interact with a multitude of various personalities and respond with patience,concern and a positive attitude.
- Supervises Dietary Aide staff.
- Comply with production, handling, and quality food standards related to patient food and clinical nutrition areas.
- Oversee andassistwith meal preparation and service based on established menus, regulations, established policies,procedure sand best practices.
- Comply with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensureoptimalfood preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations based on current diet manual.
- Supports quality assurance through audits, in-services, and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Maintains a safe, clean, and efficient work environment for residents and staff.
- Monitors patient diet updates, patient allergens, food production, and meal service procedures.
- Assist patients and provide friendly, personalized service.
