Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part-time position. Bonus amounts prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former Maine Health Members are ineligible until greater than 3 months of separation from employment.

Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required

This 30-hour position is based at Maine Health Obstetrics & Gynecology-Rockport on the Pen Bay Hospital campus.

The practice has a well-established integrated care model and highly values its partnership with behavioral health clinicians. Team members work collaboratively to improve patient outcomes while reducing barriers to care. By providing behavioral health services within the medical setting, patients often feel more comfortable accessing support and participating in treatment.

In this role, you will provide screenings, assessments, and brief evidence-based interventions for practice patients. Services may include individual, family, and group treatment.

Providing consultation and support to medical providers

Connecting patients with community resources and support services

Participating in population health initiatives that promote the wellbeing of targeted patient groups

Collaborating with the care team to support integrated treatment planning

Experience or interest in treating substance use disorders is preferred.

Summary

The role of Behavioral Health Clinician II, working under an independent license, involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Master's degree in social work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field
License/

Certifications:

Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR)
Experience: At least two years of behavioral health experience including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician.

The pay range for this position is $71,448.00to $96,636.80per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
