Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Hartland, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any significant changes to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate records of care provided.
• Promote and encourage client independence and participation in daily activities.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar care-giving role is plus.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Must pass background checks and meet all regulatory requirements for this position.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $14.00 to $19.00 based on experience.
