Travel Surgical Tech​/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist​/CST

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience.

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Active CST/ORT license required if applicable
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required by start date (non-AHA certifications accepted at submission)
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

• Hospital Operating Room setting
• 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, four 9-hour day shifts (7:00 AM-4:30 PM)
• Call shifts required, including both weeknights and weekends
• On-call rotation of approximately one weekend every 6 to 7 weeks and one weeknight per week
• EPIC EMR used
• 25-mile float policy between facilities as needed
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage prohibited on the unit
• Local candidates within 90 miles of any Maine Health facility will be considered local and are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for this 13-week contract, subject to manager discretion
• Candidates who have worked at any Maine Health facility within the past 12 months should disclose this at the time of consideration
