Location: Southwest Harbor

Guest Services Agent at Atlantic Hospitality, Acadia Collection – Southwest Harbor, ME.

The Claremont Hotel in Southwest Harbor and the Asticou Hotel in Northeast Harbor, Maine are looking for a Guest Services Agent to join our team for the 2025 season.

Pay: $18‑$20 per hour based on experience

Full time, April–November

Please note, candidate must be legal to work in the United States without a Company Sponsorship. Housing is not available at this time.

As a Guest Services Agent, you set the tone for our guests' stay, providing a welcoming check‑in and check‑out experience and serving as an ambassador throughout their stay by providing information on the resort, local area, and attractions.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Settling guest accounts upon check‑out
  • Assisting guests with questions or issues
  • Effectively communicating with all departments
  • Ensuring accurate room reservations
  • Answering phone calls and taking reservations
  • Understanding and adhering to the company’s brand standards
  • Ensuring guests' needs are met
  • Being asked to cross‑train in different departments
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the area is a plus but not required
  • Ability to be on your feet for a long period of time
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Must be neat, courteous, flexible, and detail‑oriented
  • Ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional with demanding guests and in difficult situations
