Job Description

We are seeking a warm and welcoming Spa Concierge to join our team at Anchorage by the Sea. This part‑time position is in Ogunquit, ME. The ideal candidate is passionate about wellness, attentive to guest needs, and committed to delivering exceptional service in a professional environment.

The Spa Concierge will provide high‑quality and luxury experience to guests, helping to promote relaxation, wellness, and overall guest satisfaction.

  Provide warm, attentive, and personalized service to all guests.
• Greet all guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a refined and welcoming first impression.
• Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and check‑in/check‑out procedures using spa booking/POS systems.
• Communicating with guests via Canary/Hotel application to promote Spa services and daily specials.
• Handle phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
• Process payments accurately and promote retail products and spa services when appropriate.
• Coordinate service flow with estheticians and therapists to ensure punctual, seamless experiences.
• Maintain confidentiality and always uphold luxury service standards.
• Stay up to date with Spa Closing procedure.
• Maintain Retail Area in immaculate condition.
• Process monthly inventory count in team effort with Spa Director.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout shift; sanitize and properly store tools and equipment at the end of each shift.
• Promote and upsell treatments, meditation sessions, yoga sessions, and retail suited to guest needs.
• Keep up to date with current techniques and modalities related to the field of work.
• Periodically ascertain guest comfort, safety, and privacy throughout the service, directing all efforts toward guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest incidents in accordance with Giri Hotels Standard Operating Procedures and inform supervisor/manager as needed.
• Report on any treatment room defects to spa management to ensure prompt follow‑up.
• Ensure uniform and appearance are tidy and professional, in line with grooming standards.
• Daily laundry duties.
• Stocking supplies and monitoring inventory levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality, spa, retail or front desk operations preferred.
• Experience with spa booking systems.
• Skilled in product education, cross‑selling, and service enhancements.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. limited/pushing up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work onsite at the hotel location.
• Proficiency in the English language.

Additional Preferred Skills/Qualities

• Second language is a plus, preferably Spanish or French.

Compensation

$18 Hourly + 10% commission on personal retail sales.
