As a Shift Leader, you will be the first impression our guests get when they arrive at Stockholms Stadshotell. You will be responsible for welcoming guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, table allocation, and providing exceptional service throughout their stay.

Your role is central to ensuring that our guests have a pleasant and memorable experience with us.

Stockholms Stadshotell is a new hotel establishment on Södermalm in a historically significant building from the 1870s. With careful hand, the building is now being transformed into 32 hotel rooms and suites, 2 restaurants, a bar, a lounge, a relax area, and an inner courtyard.

• Handle check-ins and check-outs in a smooth and efficient manner, ensuring that all guests' wishes and requirements are met.
• Welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly reception. Escort guests to their rooms or tables, and offer assistance with luggage.
• Ensure that guest rooms are in perfect condition before guests' arrival, including that all amenities function correctly.
• Offer personal service, including information about the hotel's restaurants, booking of restaurants, transport, and activities, as well as information about local attractions and events.
• Assist guests with their needs and inquiries and give VIP guests special attention, handling their specific requests.
• Book and coordinate rooms and tables and manage reservations.
• Handle payments and complete financial transactions.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments within the hotel, such as housekeeping, restaurant, and maintenance, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Actively work on recommendations and upselling of the hotel's facilities and services, such as restaurants and events, to increase revenues.

• At least 2 years of experience in reception and restaurant operations within the hotel industry or similar.
• Relevant education in the hotel and restaurant industry.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service abilities.
• Good English in speaking and writing is a requirement.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong sense of detail and high degree of accuracy.
