Position

Steward – Kitchen Team

• Interact with team members and create a positive work environment.
• Maintain a daily sanitation log for dish machine and manual pot wash sink.
• Ensure work areas are ready; communicate items that are not ready.
• Lead green initiatives by properly recycling cardboard using compactor.
• Be energy conscious: turn off lights, keep faucets turned off, report leaks.
• Key player in safety: monitor high traffic areas to avoid accidents, slips, trips, falls.
• Use proper dish and glass racks to avoid chips, cracks or breakage of small wares.
• Use time wisely and proactively clean and sanitize all equipment during slow times.
• Learn and assist in other kitchen tasks as business demands.
• Provide genuine engagement with guests and crew members with a sincere smile.

• Great attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to work on feet for an extended period.
• Effective communication skills.
• Capacity to lift/carry up to 25 lbs and move equipment up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to navigate tight spaces and reach high places.
• Comfortable operating equipment: spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, dusters.
• Housekeeping experience desirable.
