Redington‑Fairview General Hospital is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Healthcare Human Resources Generalist with strong payroll experience and HRIS expertise to join our team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast‑paced healthcare environment and is passionate about supporting both employees and organizational compliance.

The HR Generalist will play a key role in payroll administration, HR systems management, employee relations, and overall HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process bi‑weekly payroll accurately and on time
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
  • Manage payroll adjustments and changes
  • Coordinate benefits deductions and reconcile payroll reports
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Maintain and optimize HRIS systems (data integrity, reporting, workflows)
  • Manage employee records and ensure accuracy of all HR data
  • Generate HR metrics and reports for leadership
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Assist with administering employee benefits and leave programs (PFML, FMLA, ADA, etc.)
  • Assist with performance management and employee relations matters
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
  • Support policy development and HR process improvements
  • Participate in audits and compliance reporting
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of Healthcare HR experience
  • 2+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and payroll regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or related certification preferred.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
