Redington‑Fairview General Hospital is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Healthcare Human Resources Generalist with strong payroll experience and HRIS expertise to join our team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast‑paced healthcare environment and is passionate about supporting both employees and organizational compliance.
The HR Generalist will play a key role in payroll administration, HR systems management, employee relations, and overall HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Process bi‑weekly payroll accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
- Manage payroll adjustments and changes
- Coordinate benefits deductions and reconcile payroll reports
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain and optimize HRIS systems (data integrity, reporting, workflows)
- Manage employee records and ensure accuracy of all HR data
- Generate HR metrics and reports for leadership
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes
- Assist with administering employee benefits and leave programs (PFML, FMLA, ADA, etc.)
- Assist with performance management and employee relations matters
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
- Support policy development and HR process improvements
- Participate in audits and compliance reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of Healthcare HR experience
- 2+ years of payroll processing experience
- Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms
- Solid understanding of employment laws and payroll regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or related certification preferred.
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
