Position SummaryThe Recruiter is responsible for the in‑house full‑cycle recruitment process to drive the organization's talent acquisition needs for both exempt and non‑exempt positions. This role partners closely with the talent acquisition team and hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies, source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews, facilitate the selection process, and manage offer negotiations through onboarding. The recruiter will proactively build talent pipelines, leverage multiple sourcing channels to identify qualified candidates, and ensure a positive candidate experience while meeting hiring goals and timelines.

- Demonstrate safety as a core value and actively lead the safe execution of work.
- Lead primary recruiting efforts for openings at our Rumford, ME location and assist with company‑wide openings as needed.
- Create proactive sourcing strategies to maintain a consistent hiring pipeline without compromising fit for the role.
- Participate and help plan on‑site job fairs.
- Collaborate with both management and hourly employees to improve work relationships, enhance morale, and drive productivity and retention.
- Align expectations with hiring managers to identify the best candidate profile and fit.
- Oversee and conduct candidate interviews in collaboration with the talent acquisition team and hiring managers.
- Build and maintain relationships with local universities, colleges, and high schools to attract new talent and grow our hourly workforce, supporting workforce diversity and inclusion.
- Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate records, track recruitment activity, and ensure data integrity.
- Monitor recruiting metrics, including time‑to‑fill, source effectiveness, candidate flow, and hiring outcomes, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
- Promote the organization's employer brand and act as an ambassador to attract top talent.
- Assist with special recruiting projects, high‑volume hiring initiatives, and process improvements as needed.
- Time to fill for non‑exempt positions: less than 30 days.

Education and Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years recruiting experience for exempt and non‑exempt roles.
- Experience recruiting within manufacturing industry preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of human resource disciplines and employment laws preferred.
- Strong background in full‑cycle recruiting.
- Proven record of filling requisitions on time with quality candidates.
- Familiarity with a union environment is a plus.
- ADP experience a plus.
- Strong familiarity with Indeed and Linked In Recruiter required.
- Proficiency with Excel and data tracking.
- Knowledge of applicable employment law and regulations.
