The Human Resources Assistant provides essential support to Homeworthy's most important asset, our staff!
- Maintains and organizes human resources records and filing systems, in both electronic and physical formats
- Provides initial employee onboarding, including review of paperwork, policies, benefits, and agency overview
- Performs background checks as required
- Monitors employee training and compliance requirements for all employees
The successful candidate will be an excellent problem solver, highly organized, and enjoy working within a growing agency that is making a difference in the lives of families in Midcoast Maine.
Skills and attributes:- Proficient with current technology, including Google Workspace, payroll, and/or HR employee information systems
- Ability to maintain employee confidentiality
- Sense of humor and a strong desire to learn
- Systems thinker with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a larger team
This is a full-time (32 hours/week), non-exempt position with competitive hourly pay of $22-26 based on experience. Homeworthy offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including
