Manager, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) - Service Now Focus

As a Senior Manager in my client's advisory practice, you will play a critical role in helping our clients in Norway and Sweden transform their GRC functions. This is a leadership position that requires a deep understanding of risk management principles, a proven track record of delivering GRC transformation projects, and a strong specialization in the Service Now platform. You will be responsible for leading engagements, building strong client relationships, and mentoring a team of consultants.

This role is a blend of technical expertise, strategic advisory, and business development.

• Client Engagement & Project Leadership:
  • Lead and deliver complex GRC projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining trusted relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in GRC and Service Now, providing strategic guidance and technical insights
• Service Now Implementation & Transformation:
  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of Service Now's GRC/Integrated Risk Management (IRM) modules, including Policy & Compliance Management, Risk Management, Audit Management, and Vendor Risk Management.
  • Design and architect future-state GRC processes, define functional and technical requirements, and translate them into a robust Service Now solution.
  • Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with clients to gather requirements and present solution demonstrations.
• Business Development:
  • Collaborate with client partners and directors to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the GRC space.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals, client presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Expand the firm's service offerings and professional network in the GRC domain.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship:
  • Manage, coach, and mentor junior consultants and team members, fostering their professional growth and technical development.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to maximize team performance.
  • Manage resource allocation and project budgets to ensure efficient delivery.
• Market & Industry Expertise:
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry best practices in GRC.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and technological advancements in the GRC market, particularly with the Service Now platform.

• Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance, preferably within a "Big 4" or major consulting firm.
• Proven experience leading and delivering multiple Service Now GRC/IRM implementations.
• Strong understanding of GRC frameworks, including but not limited to COSO, ISO 31000, NIST, GDPR, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Relevant Service Now certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Service Now Certified GRC Implementation Specialist).
• Exceptional client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Fluent in both English and a Scandinavian language (Norwegian or Swedish preferred) is a significant advantage.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Systems, or Technology).
