Overview

Sunday River is looking for an IT Coordinator to provide hands-on, field-facing IT support across the Resort. This position installs, configures, and deploys end-user computing devices and structured cabling infrastructure (indoor and outdoor), installs and maintains network devices, and provides on-site desktop support to Sunday River Resort employees and guests. This role also deploys and supports Point of Sale (POS) terminals - including terminal and peripheral setup, hardware break-fix, and device refreshes - across Food and Beverage, Retail, Guest Services, and Hotel Reservation Systems, escalating application-level configuration issues to Boyne Corporate Technology teams.

In addition, this position maintains accurate documentation of local network and cabling infrastructure to support the IT Service Delivery Manager and Boyne Corporate IT Operations, and performs other administrative and field support duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a variety of environments, both indoors and outdoors, on ladders, in attic spaces, under desks, and in guest-facing areas, including on-mountain locations as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and deploy end-user computing devices (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals) across the Resort, and provide on-site, field-facing desktop support to employees and guests.
  • Install, maintain, and repair structured cabling infrastructure (indoor and outdoor), including wiring for renovation, relocation, or new construction; terminate and test cabling; and install and/or replace network devices such as switches, wireless access points, wireless bridges, webcams, printers, and phones.
  • Deploy and support Point of Sale (POS) terminals across Food and Beverage, Retail, Guest Services, and Hotel Reservation Systems - configuring the terminal and client application, and installing and testing peripherals such as printers, scanners, and credit card/payment devices. Provide hardware break-fix support and device refreshes; elevate application-level configuration issues to Boyne Corporate Technology teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of local network and cabling infrastructure (e.g., in net Terrain) to support the IT Service Delivery Manager and Boyne Corporate IT Operations.
  • Perform other administrative and field support duties as assigned by the IT Service Delivery Manager.
  • Exhibits sound judgment, accuracy, and thoroughness; committed to continuous improvement and proactive with prioritizing tasks. Dependable and responsive to direction.
  • Work within Boyne's shared IT services model, using ticketing and problem management processes to document, track, and resolve issues consistently across properties.
  • Provide new users with basic instruction; streamline processes and maintain stocks of consumable supplies.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Advanced knowledge of CAT5 and above cabling, T568B wiring standard, and cable count color codes a plus.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools is required.
  • Ability to use logic, vendor support, reference manuals, Internet resources, and documentation to solve problems is required.
  • Ability to ski or snowboard at or above the beginner level to perform on-mountain tasks a plus.
  • Organized, self-motivated team player with excellent communication and guest service skills.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Wage range $20 - $23 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with room for professional growth and advancement.
  • Team Members perks include:
  • Free ski and golf access
  • Discounted lessons and rentals
  • Resort discounts for dining, lodging, retail, and spa
  • Eligibility for affordable Team Member housing
