The Atlantic District is looking for a Licensed Insurance Agent to join our team in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. - Talk with clients about their insurance needs and guide them toward the right coverage
- Build new relationships through referrals, outreach, and follow-up conversations
- Review existing policies and look for gaps, savings, and better-fit options
- Help clients understand their choices so they can make confident decisions
- Prepare quotes, explain policy details, and support the application process
- Maintain accurate records of client information and policy activity
- Stay current on product updates, carrier guidelines, and licensing requirements
- Provide steady, friendly service that encourages long-term client trust
- Active Maine Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance license
- Prior insurance sales or customer service experience
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to explain coverage options clearly and simply
- Comfort handling phone calls, follow-ups, and client meetings
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM tools
- Reliable, self-directed work style
- Preferred: knowledge of local Maine insurance needs and markets
- Preferred: experience with cross-selling and account rounding
