POSITION OVERVIEW

The Hussey Advantage Dealer parts team is a dedicated sales and order processing team that focuses on the renovation and repair segment of the business. This team is seeking an experienced parts specialist with the aptitude, attitude, and drive to be successful in the fast paced and complex service market of telescopic platforms and fixed chairs. The dealer parts team is a dynamic team that handles all Hussey product lines as well as other products within our markets sold to our exclusive dealer network.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare accurate and timely part quotations based on customers' requirements.
  • Review customer requests, drawings, photos and equipment information to identify required parts and components.
  • Research parts availability, pricing, substitutions and lead times through internal systems and supplier resources.
  • Provide customers with detailed quotes, pricing information and product recommendations.
  • Communicate with customers to clarify requirements and resolve questions with technically sound solutions.
  • Provide guidance and collaborate with engineers to respond to technical questions in a timely manner to ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders such as customers, planners, engineering, drafting, accounting, and shipping departments to ensure a smooth quote to cash order cycle.
  • Interface with customers, product teams, operations and sales departments in problem resolution and/or implementing procedures to satisfy customer needs.
  • Be main point of contact for customers regarding quote, order status, processing clarifications and delivery communications.
  • Order entry for guaranteed/warranty repair order working closely with quality and the master scheduler to expedite delivery to resolve problems
  • Enter purchase orders into the ERP system with a high level of accuracy.
  • Review and ensure orders come in on budget, on time, and correct.
  • Collaborate with team members to share responsibilities and tasks as necessary to ensure team metrics and overall success.

  • Strong analytical and computer skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience with a Tier 1 or 2 ERP system.
  • Experience with Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) software.
  • Ability to read job prints, engineering prints and installation manual.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and/or installation experience.
  • Drive for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and drive towards long term team success.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2-year technical associate degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service, sales, data entry or customer support roles.
  • Proven ability to handle high-volume customer interaction while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
  • Skilled in resolving inquiries, processing orders, documenting customer interactions accurately.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately input, verify, and maintain large volumes of orders and data.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
