Customer Service Representative

Seeking an onsite Customer Service Representative – Integrated Supply to support procurement and customer service activities at the Pratt & Whitney facility. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and vendors. Experience with procurement, metals manufacturing, and blueprint reading is preferred but not mandatory.

• Perform purchasing and procurement activities for customer requirements.
• Review inventory forecasts and daily replenishment recommendations.
• Place purchase requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
• Follow up with vendors regarding order status, delivery, quality, and pricing.
• Research vendors and products to meet customer specifications and requirements.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and accounts-payable issues.
• Coordinate vendor returns, replacements, and excess/aging inventory.
• Identify and document customer cost-saving opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.
• Maintain strong vendor and customer relationships.
• Produce customer KPI data and follow customer SOPs.
• Work in compliance with LEAN practices and site safety requirements.

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic mathematical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Ability to learn ERP and inventory-management systems.
• Professional demeanor and strong follow-through.
• Procurement/purchasing experience preferred.
• Metals manufacturing experience and blueprint-reading ability are preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 1+ year of procurement experience preferred.
• CPM certification preferred.
• Candidates without industry experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong customer service, computer skills, initiative, and willingness to learn.
