Job DescriptionThe YMCA of Southern Maine is looking for an exceptional Aquatics Director to drive our Casco Bay Branch aquatics program into its next chapter of growth. As Aquatics Director, you will be part of the Casco Bay Branch leadership team and will collaborate with aquatics colleagues across our three-branch Association, sharing resources, ideas, and best practices.
Your ImpactAs our Aquatics Director, you'll significantly grow programs, develop talented staff, and ensure that everyone in our community has access to water safety lessons and the joy of swimming.

- Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 (commensurate with experience).

Qualifications- A passionate, determined leader who thrives on growth and building strong teams.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of supervisory experience with a track record of positive team development.
- Relationship builder with strong communication skills and genuine care for both staff and community.
- Mission‑driven — excited about the YMCA's commitment to building inclusive, healthy communities.
- Certified (or willing to obtain certifications) and experienced in lifeguarding, CPR, and swim instruction.
