We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and people-centered leader to help drive our mission forward.
About the RoleThis senior leadership position partners closely with the CEO and department directors to lead programs, membership, and facility operations. You will help shape strategy, grow revenue, build leaders, and ensure that every person who walks through our doors experiences safety, belonging, and excellence.
This is more than an operations role, it’s a community impact role.
What You’ll Do:Lead With Purpose
- Champion youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
- Serve as a visible, trusted leader for staff, volunteers, members, and community partners.
- Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and professional growth.
- Oversee program, membership, and facility operations.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, safety, and YMCA standards.
- Maintain and strengthen the YMCA’s Emergency Action Plan.
- Continuously assess and improve policies, procedures, and service delivery.
- Partner with the CEO and Finance team on budgeting and financial strategy.
- Monitor monthly financial performance and develop action plans as needed.
- Support revenue growth through membership, programs, and philanthropy.
- Oversee grant management and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Recruit, coach, and develop staff and volunteers.
- Create pathways for cause-driven leadership development.
- Promote a high-performing culture focused on service and community impact.
- Participate in fundraising and annual campaigns.
- Represent the YMCA at community events and initiatives.
- Build authentic relationships that connect people to the Y’s mission.
- 5-10 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Team player, with superb interpersonal skills. An ability to partner with co-workers and work with the public in a positive and friendly manner and resolve conflicts as needed.
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, lead others, work independently, and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
- General computer skills with the ability to effectively learn and use new software.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record with access to personal vehicle preferred.
- MRTQ certifications within 30 days of hire
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or the equivalent in education and closely related work experience.

Salary: $80,000-$85,000 annualized
