The Project Manager is an integral member of the team, responsible for organizing, facilitating, and executing project management initiatives for from work start through implementation and award closeout under the direction and mentorship of senior staff to include Program Manager (PgMs), Project Managers and Engineers. The Project Manager will support technical objectives and vendor coordination and manage projects effectively to ensure they are delivered on time, on budget and to the agreed quality standards.
Work is performed with supervision. Typical hiring salary for this soft-money funded position is up to $82,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
This position requires access to information regulated under U.S. Export Control regulations and therefore individuals must qualify as a U.S. Person under U.S. Export Control Regulations.

Qualifications:
Required:
* B.S. in related Engineering field or Business field or equivalent education and experience. (Project Management Degrees or Business Degrees with equivalent technical experience will be considered).
* 1-3 years performing project management duties such as planning, resource management, budget management, reporting.
* Experience with Project Management tools and applications (Smartsheet, MS Project).
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet constant deadlines.
* Demonstrated ability to interact with industry members.
Preferred:
* Concentration, minor or degree in Computer Science, Internet Technologies, or other software related fields.
* In pursuit of an advanced degree (MBA, MS, etc.)
* Experience and demonstratable ability with an ERP System (Unanet).
* Experience and demonstratable ability with data visualization tools (Power BI, Unanet Analytics).
* Work experience in engineering, composites, construction, research, or other technical discipline.
* Experience in project management with significant software component design.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Experience advising and directing student research.
