This position provides operational leadership for both Waldo Cancer Care and Pen Bay Cancer Care, with time split equally between the two locations. Oncology experience is strongly preferred and registered nurses with demonstrated leadership and healthcare operations experience are encouraged to apply. This role oversees not only provider-based oncology practice operations, but also infusion therapy services at both sites.

The Director, Practice Operations is responsible for managing all operational aspects of the practice sites to ensure high-quality patient care and exceptional patient experience. The Director is accountable for fostering a positive culture of engagement, leading staff and management development, supporting provider and staff recruitment and retention, and driving financial performance. This role collaborates closely with multidisciplinary partners, including Information Services, Human Resources, Revenue Cycle, Credentialing, Legal, Finance, and others, to ensure efficient operations and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

The Director partners with medical and administrative leadership to support strategic planning, business development, and the continued growth of oncology and infusion services across both locations.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education:

    Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospital Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience:

    Five years of progressively advanced financial and administrative management in a hospital outpatient practice environment required.

The pay range for this position is $to $per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
