Masters Machine is hiring full time CNC Programmer Machinist to join their team in Round Pond, Maine (7 Miles east of Damariscotta on the Pemaquid Peninsula). Do you consider yourself mechanical? - Sign on Bonuses: $250.00 for first shift and $500 for second shift, after working 90 days!
- 1st shift:
Monday – Thursday, 6:40a – 4:00p and Friday, 6:30a – 12:00p - 2nd shift:
Monday – Thursday, 4:00p – 2:30a - Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday – work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Read and interpret technical blueprints, determine machining to be done, dimensions of parts and tolerances, and plan sequence of operations
- Use advanced CAM to select cutting speeds, feed rates, depth of cuts and cutting tools to be used based on experience and knowledge of metal properties and shop mathematics
- Inputting the product design into the computer
- Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job
- Adjusting machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
- Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process
- Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications

- 10+ years previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is required
- 10+ years of hands-on experience programming (Esprit CAM preferred), extensive experience with computer modeling software, and operating multi axis CNC machines (lathes, mills, Swiss, or transfer machines) is required
- Ability to read and interpret design blueprints
- Experience in GD&T and precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.)
- Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
- High school diploma or equivalent (tech school, apprenticeship or vocational training preferred)
- Computer and documentation skills (Windows, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and closely follow directions
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift-up to 25 pounds for short periods of time
- Be prepared to perform other duties and responsibilities as required
