Production Technician 2nd Shift

Overview

Molnlycke is a medical device manufacturer seeking a full-time Production Technician for 2nd Shift (3:00PM - 1:00AM) in Wiscasset, ME. This role supports manufacturing of healthcare products worldwide. We are looking for people who are passionate about helping others and work well in a team-based environment.

• Perform various production processing duties required in the manufacturing of SWC products.
• Manufacture fluidized medium to produce Fluidized Positioners from raw material to finished goods.
• Follow good manufacturing practices in compliance with local and global regulations.

• Pre-employment physical, background check, and at least 2 professional references required
• Proven success working in a team-based environment with the ability to meet performance measures with minimal direct supervision
• Ability to make well-reasoned decisions independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and organization skills
• Basic mechanical, mathematical, and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
• Ability to work overtime to ensure production goals are met
• Over 75% of workdays spent walking or standing
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Regular handling, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, reaching, and grasping
• Close vision and color vision required
• Ability to wear a respirator
• Experience in production, manufacturing or related environment preferred, but not required

• Work schedule:
  
  Monday – Thursday, 3:00PM – 1:00AM; workdays and hours may vary based on operational needs; occasional overtime and weekend work may be required
