Position

Spiral Technician II

Pay

$23.28 per hour

Shift

1st shift: 6:30am – 3:30pm (Fridays 6:30am – 10:30am). No weekends. Must be willing to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities
  • Operate, set up, and troubleshoot equipment as required.
  • Operate cutter and perform machine preventative maintenance on various pieces of equipment.
  • Execute machine setups on a substitute basis when required.
  • Interpret and understand production orders and requirements.
  • Report and track production information: scrap, machine efficiency, machine downtime, paper usage.
  • Assist other crew members with setups, packaging aspects, quality requirements, and other related production specs.
  • Document and maintain machine log, reporting quality measurements and metrics.
  • Apply machine set‑up skills, understanding buildups and tube constructions, and cutter set‑up procedures.
  • Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities and communicate them to management.

  • Strong safety commitment and knowledge of all LOTO requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and with various teams.
  • Leadership skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Initiative and ability to understand the sense of urgency to meet customer requirements.
  • Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to identify and communicate cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Mechanical aptitude to operate, set up, and troubleshoot equipment.
