Production Scheduler

Location: Fryeburg

Hunting, Dearborn Division is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Production Scheduler to join our dynamic scheduling team. The scheduler works collaboratively with production supervisors to execute the production plan on a weekly basis, ensuring supervisors have enough work to load their machine resources.

Responsibilities

* Develop a solid understanding of specific software including but not limited to:
Lilly Works and Protected Flow Manufacturing (PFM) Theory of Operation

* Understanding the terminology and functionality of PFM and D365 and how they interact

* Provide critical data to support the Dearborn Planning Methodology

* Perform labor adjustments in D365 and assist in training new employees with the program

* Dispatch operations by department and machines

* Complete daily and weekly tasks list that support the accuracy of the schedule

* Lead weekly through put meeting

* Understand how the ship list is created and how to incorporate any expedites needed into the department dispatches

* Perform all other duties as assigned by management

Required

Skills and Experience:

* 2- 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred

* Training in throughput or theory of constraints is preferred

* Working knowledge of manufacturing and the flow of production

* Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

* Critical thinking skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

* Strong organizational and time management skills

* Ability to work effectively both individually and collaboratively

* Ability to work with cross-functional teams comprised of members within and outside of the organization

* Monday to Friday, day schedule, 8 or more hours per day.
