Modular Assembly , Weekend Shift ( Onsite

Certified Operator – AWW shift (Friday to Sunday, 12‑hour shifts) at Pratt & Whitney. Designed for individuals with little or no machining or assembly experience to become a Certified Operator. Includes 4‑8 weeks of on‑the‑job training and certification to accept/reject parts.

• Perform routine assembly operations on large sections of current engine designs and similar assemblies.
• Work from operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instruction.
• Verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Obtain operator certification and accept/reject parts under guidance.
• Perform total preventive maintenance (TPM) on machines.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, programmers and production personnel to resolve assembly problems and assist in part process development.

• High School or GED required.
• 1+ year of manufacturing, automotive or related trade experience preferred.
• Must perform computations involving decimals and fractions.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
