Operations Team – Engine Component Repair (2nd Shift)

What You Will Do- Plan and perform hand fusion, machine welding, or other metal‑joining processes to fabricate or repair engine components.
- Work from drawings, sketches, welding schedules, and verbal or written instructions.
- Set equipment parameters such as gas flow and other settings to achieve quality welds.
- Prepare and align parts for welding, securing details as needed.
- Operate computer‑controlled welding equipment and hand‑held torches to complete cycles.
- Use X‑ray film or black‑light inspection to assess repairs, build surfaces, and correct defects.
- Employ measuring instruments to verify dimensions and record results.
- Perform routine servicing of assigned equipment following written procedures and checklists.
- Refer complex problems to supervisors or leading teams and maintain appropriate metal‑joining certifications.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
- Essential skills, systems, and processes in aerospace manufacturing within a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

- High School diploma or GED (minimum).
- 1+ year related experience, or a post‑secondary or vocational degree/certificate in a related field with 0‑1+ years of experience.
- Certified welding credential covering at least two metal groups.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer applications.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including overtime.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Eligibility to participate in the Aerospace Variable Plan (AVP).
