Our client in Thomaston is hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician to support their industrial operations. This hands‑on maintenance role works with older industrial equipment and requires strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot, fabricate parts, and keep machinery running safely and efficiently.
Typical Daily Duties- Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Perform basic welding and fabrication using shop tools
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to minimize downtime
- Millwright, mechanic, or fabrication experience (or strong mechanical aptitude with willingness to be trained)
- Experience in industrial maintenance and machinery repair
- Ability to fabricate parts using basic shop tools
- Textile equipment experience is a plus, but not required
