Location: North Berwick
What You Will Do
- Maintain machines and facility operations.
- Identify and acquire materials required to perform maintenance or repair operations.
- Contact vendors and crib system for availability and budgetary dollar cost.
- Convey schedule to the customer and interface to resolve issues.
- Enter job information into log with regard to safety, environmental and emergency.
- Record all findings (e.g., coolant changes concentration %, pH, usages and test results).
- Apply necessary calibration procedures and be aware of various manufacturing standards that have an effect on the process.
- Determine problems associated with coolant management, state actions required for correction and apply recommendations on findings for solution.
- Maintain tools and equipment; maintain tank farm trucks; load and unload trucks; store materials appropriately.
- Provide building and equipment services to customers (trash, carpets, coolants, oils, solvents).
- Clean up oil and water spills; pump machine sumps (water and coolants); clean machine sumps (chips, grit, sludge).
- Perform snow removal duties when required.
- Procure materials for recycling (cardboard, paper, media, oils) and verify scrap/waste disposition.
- Access materials inventory, fill out storage and request forms.
- Fill out necessary forms to order materials using Bruckner crib system.
- Document results of test or method of repair in technical terms for record of progress and maintenance history.
- Provide informal instruction as needed or requested to other members of the job family.
- Calibrate instruments for various processes.

Qualifications- High School or GED.
- 2+ years of shop experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Flexibility around shifts, for training and to maintain workflow, including overtime.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

Shift: Weekend shift, Friday-Sunday, 5:00 am-5:30 pm. Work 36 hours for pay of 40 hours. Reports to James Neuville. This is an onsite role requiring U.S. citizenship and meeting all program/contract authorized access requirements.
