Quality Inspector, 2nd Shift

Position:
Quality Inspector – Repair Operations (2nd Shift) – 3:00pm–1:00am, Monday‑Thursday.

Location:

North Berwick, ME. U.S. citizens only. Onsite role.

• Work applicable written inspection procedures, drawings, Engine Manuals and other pertinent instructions to plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools, gauges, and equipment.
• Accept material or refer for rework or quality review based on findings.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results.
• Perform mathematical computations to determine extent of nonconformance and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Follow proper procedures for inspection checks, verification of dimensions, and ensure work instructions are followed.
• Recognize the need and arrange for repair or replacement of measuring equipment used in performing the work.
• Support continuous improvement activities to meet business objectives.
• Maintain inspection stamp and manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
• Observe shift flexibility for training, workflow maintenance, and overtime.
• Carry out tasks within scope and skill level to support department objectives and develop skills.
• Review customer parts as received and determine the start of their repair path.
• Inspect legacy, military, and GTF parts.

• Skills, systems, and processes critical to aerospace manufacturing within a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Inspection experience (non‑aerospace acceptable).
• Familiarity with precision measuring equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic shop math.
