Onsite – 2nd shift: 3:30 pm–1:30 am, Monday–Thursday.

• Work applicable written inspection procedures, drawings, engine manuals, and other pertinent instruction and/or approved technical data to plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools, gauges, and other equipment, accepting material or referring for rework or quality review based on findings.
• Use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments where work instructions are well defined to check dimensions and record results.
• Perform necessary mathematical computations to determine extent of nonconformance and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Follow proper procedures to perform inspection checks and verification of dimensions and ensure that work instructions are being followed.
• Recognize need and arrange for repair or replacement of measuring equipment used in performing the work as necessary.
• Support and promote continuous improvement activities to meet business objectives.
• Maintain inspection stamp.
• Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
• Flexibility around shifts, training, and to maintain workflow, including overtime.
• May be assigned to carry out tasks within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individuals’ skills.
• Review customer parts as received and determine the start of their repair path (receiving inspection).
• Work with legacy, military, and GTF parts.

• High School diploma or GED.

• Inspection experience (non‑aerospace acceptable).
• Familiar with precision measuring equipment.
• Communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Computer skills.
• Basic shop math.
