Work on our Operations Team repairing jet engine components as a welding technician. This is a 2nd Shift role (Monday‑Friday, 3:00 pm‑11:30 pm) in a state‑of‑the‑art facility that supports Pratt & Whitney’s aerospace manufacturing.

• Plan and perform hand fusion, machine welding or other metal‑joining processes to fabricate or repair parts.
• Follow drawings, sketches, welding schedules, and instructions from supervisors.
• Set equipment parameters such as gas flow and machine settings to obtain quality welds.
• Prepare parts for welding, align and secure details.
• Operate computer‑controlled welding equipment or manipulate hand welding torches to complete cycles.
• Use X‑ray film or black‑light inspections to assess repair extent and build up surfaces.
• Measure dimensions with fixed and variable instruments and record results.
• Perform routine servicing within the assigned area according to written procedures and checklists.
• Report difficult problems to the supervisor or working leader.
• Maintain metal‑joining certifications as required.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of related experience, or a completed degree/certificate in a related field with 0–1+ years of experience.

• Certification in at least two metal groups for welding.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Flexibility for shift changes, training, and overtime.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
