- Weekend Shift Opportunity:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:00am – 6:30pm, work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours. - Designated for individuals with little or no machining or grinding background; will become a Certified Operator at Pratt & Whitney.
- Attend a 3‑week training program and 4–8 weeks of on‑the‑job training.
- Learn to set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines, vertical turret lathes or V‑T‑C’s for routine production operations on weldments and assemblies.
- Work from operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instruction to set up equipment for grinding, turning, facing, boring, and/or chamfering operations with limited surfaces.
- Verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Obtain operator certification to accept/reject parts.
- Maintain machines by performing required total preventive maintenance (TPM).
- Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, programmers, and other production personnel to resolve machining problems and assist in part process development.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English.

Qualifications You Must Have- High School or GED.
- 1+ year of manufacturing, automotive or related trade experience.
- Ability to make computations involving decimals and fractions.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
