Cell Leader - 3rd Shift​/Overnight; Onsite

Job posted on  in WELLS, ME. Onsite role. 3rd Shift / Overnight Schedule (5x8).

• Provide leadership to one or more Business Unit Cells.
• Apply CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence), Lean and other continuous improvement techniques to develop and implement process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing quality, throughput and delivery integrity.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a multi-skilled group of team members engaged in the manufacture and repair of jet engine components.
• Ensure employees are adequately trained and work in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
• Bridge business objectives across three operating shifts and have availability across all shifts.
• Support all legal obligations such as U.S. Government contracting and Administration of FAA policies and procedures.
• Make minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of the work area.
• Set day‑to‑day operational objectives for the team.
• Execute basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or related environment OR
• Associate’s degree and minimum 4 years experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or related environment.
• In lieu of a degree, 6 or more years’ experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or related environment.
• Experience in MS Office applications, specifically MS PowerPoint and Excel.
• Working knowledge of shop practices, processes and procedures.

• Demonstrated skill and success in team leadership, facilitation & coaching skills.
• Analytical, problem solving & mathematic skills.
• Proven flexibility/adaptability in high stress, ambiguous environments.
• Proven ability to plan and prioritize.
• Working knowledge of new product / process technologies.

Salary range: 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD. Location:

113 Wells St, WELLS, ME (US-ME-NORTH). This is an Onsite role; commuting is the employee’s personal responsibility. The position is classified as Onsite.
